$7,000 for client bit in excess of 30 times while staying at a Bridgewater, New Jersey hotel. Client had $98.00 in medical expenses plus $45.39 in prescription costs. He visited with a doctor once for his injuries and did not require further treatment. Client made a full recovery.

$5,210 settlement despite an initial denial of liability by the insurance carrier for the hotel. Client received nearly 60 bites. The hotel was located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Client checked into the hotel for a one night stay and woke up at 5:45 a.m. with bed bugs crawling on his arm. He got out of the bed and immediately checked out of the hotel. Two days later, he went to a Med Express and was prescribed 1% Hydrocortisone for his symptoms.

$12,500 recovery made for female client while bit by bed bugs at an Atlantic City, New Jersey casino and hotel. On Christmas Day, at about 6:00 a.m., client awoke with severe burning and an itchy sensation on her body and face. She observed numerous bug bites on her left hand, left arm, and back. She later, observed bed bugs crawling in her bed and immediately contacted the front desk.  She went to an urgent care for medical treatment and then followed up with her primary care doctor a few days later.

$8,500 settlement against a Voorhees Township, New Jersey hotel for client with in excess of 40 bed bug bites. Client observed fecal spots from the bed bugs in her room. When she returned home, she contacted a local pest control professional to perform a preventive bed bug treatment in her house. The client wanted to make sure no bed bugs returned home with her.
